Campus Redevelopment

Previous project:  

Visitors' Entrance and Mardale Frontage redevelopment.

Summary details:   

Demolition of the former 1970s, single storey precast concrete frontage and visitors' reception and replacement with a fully glazed two storey frontage with sandstone facings to house a new entrance, visitors' reception area, administration offices, board room and meeting rooms.  The new building will link to the adjoining Student Services building that was completed in 2010 and the Mardale refectory frontage that was opened in 2009.  Environmental features of the project include improved energy efficiency and water attenuation measures.
