The Pursuit of Excellence

Ofsted Inspectors applauded “the pursuit of excellence” at Runshaw. They also pointed out that many students’ lives were changed for the good because of the support they received here.

For us at Runshaw, “the pursuit of excellence” basically means supporting students to achieve their dreams. For some, this is getting into Oxbridge or medical school; for others, it is representing their country at sport; for yet others, it is developing the skills to achieve a desired career.

This brochure gives you some idea of student successes at Runshaw in 2012 – our most successful year ever. Yet it is only a small glimpse of the many, many success stories at Runshaw.

And not included here are the fun, enrichment and friendships enjoyed on the way to this success. Runshaw is a very happy community and we wouldn’t want the success without the enjoyment. I hope you can come along to one of our Open Evenings or a Sampling event to see for yourself what you might be able to achieve here. Who knows… we might see your name or photograph in future editions of this brochure!
