Nation’s top universities welcome Runshaw students

This year our students have once again broken all records with their A-level and Advanced Vocational achievement.

As a result of this, more of our students than ever before have progressed to university courses. For example, over 60 former Runshaw students have progressed to Oxford and Cambridge Universities since 2006.

This term we can celebrate the success of our class of 2011 who have proved to be amongst our most successful students ever. This publication gives details of all their successes. The Ofsted inspectors were certainly right when they referred to Runshaw as “the college that changes lives.” They also said we had “students to be proud of.” How right they are!

40 students have chosen to study Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Science, Medical Sciences, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy at university

67 students have chosen to study Law at university

152 students have chosen to study Science courses at university

96 students have chosen to study Maths, Economics and Accounting at university

55 students have chosen to study English at university

103 students have chosen to study Teaching/Education at university

Our students travel far and wide to continue their studies and are well represented at the nation’s leading universities. In fact, this year, EVERY one of the Russell Group of prestigious universities has welcomed at least one ‘fresher’ from Runshaw.
