Vocational Students’ Outstanding Success Celebration

In order to celebrate our Vocational students’ outstanding success this year, we held a Prestigious Destination Lunch in our Foxholes restaurant.

Over 60 students were invited to attend the event to mark our great pride in their achievements. The lunch was principally to recognise particularly prestigious university offers, highly competitive degree apprenticeships and outstanding offers within music and the arts. The number of Performing Arts students accessing such prestigious institutions such as the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, LAINE, Italia Conti and URDANG is truly magnificent.

The range of Higher Apprenticeships from BNFL, National Grid, Bae Systems and the National Grid to name but a few, is again testament to the skills, knowledge and experiences that our students can demonstrate at interview for these very competitive places nationwide.

We were incredibly proud of many of our Vocational students who have secured offers for Veterinary Science, Architecture, Politics and Physics, so often associated with A Level studies as opposed to the BTEC route.

It is fantastic to see so many Vocational students heading to the Russell Group of Universities, acknowledging, quite rightly the merit and status of Vocational Education in the 21st Century.
