Application Form

This is a standard online application form to be completed by all candidates, including internal candidates. If you need any support in completing this application form, please contact either the HR Team or Vacancy Filler. All information given will be treated in the strictest confidence.

Please do not submit a C.V. or other testimonials in support of your application. This is because the application form is designed so that information can be compared on a like for like basis.

When providing information about previous employment, please be accurate about dates of employment and include part time and unpaid work. Also include dates and reasons for any breaks in your employment or education history.

If you are successful, the College will undertake a number of employment checks including the requirement to see original certificates of all relevant qualifications.

References

Candidates should provide two referees to support their application. References will not be accepted from relatives or from those writing in the capacity of a friend. If you are in or have just completed full-time education, one reference should be from your school/college/university. Otherwise references should be from your current employer and a previous employer. For employment references you should provide a referee who was senior to you and is able to comment upon your suitability for the role. One of your referees should be from a Head Teacher or Principal if you have previously worked in education or a setting with children or young people.  Character references should only be supplied when no employment referee exists.

In order to check an individual candidates suitability to work in an educational environment, the successful candidate will require an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Clearance.
