Please note - this is a level 4 vacancy so a level 3 AAT qualification is required.

- Job Description
Shared Financial Services are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Finance Apprentice to work in our busy Financial Management, Treasury and Exchequer teams.
The successful candidate will be working as part of a team:Delivering financial/management accounting support
Treasury management,
Maintaining and improving our finance system and processes
Accounts payable.The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to use IT systems in a wide range of applications, the ability to work to time sensitive deadlines with excellent attention to detail, be able to work well on their own as well as part of a team, possess good communication and inter personal skills and have high levels of integrity, honesty, reliability and confidentiality.
This post will encompass a wide range of responsibilities as outlined in the Job description.
Although based at the Town Hall, Chorley, the candidate may be required to work across Shared Services which includes the Civic Centre Leyland.
As part of the apprenticeship, the successful applicant will be required to study for the AAT Accounting Level x Apprenticeship Framework and will therefore need to have the minimum entry requirements for the course. - Personal Qualities

5 x GCSE’s A*-C / 9-4 which must include GCSE English and Maths at A*-C/ 9-4 or equivalent
