  • Job Description

    An exciting, dynamic and fast moving career is available within a luxurious cosmopolitan English and Mediterranean Brassiere and newly refurbished Hotel.

    The Rufford Arm’s are now seeking a dynamic Front of House Apprentice..
    As an apprentice you will be a valued member of our hospitality team, within our high quality restaurant and hotel.

    You will work alongside other experienced staff and learn all aspects of the role including

    •Mediterranean and English Cuisine
    •Bar work
    •Customer services
    •Function set up and clear down
    •Excellent customer service.

    You will receive excellent support and mentoring from the management team and in return we require either male or female apprentices to offer a flexible approach to their hours and work between 25 to 40 hours. There will be early starts and late finishes so you must be a car driver and have access to a vehicle. If however you have not yet passed your test but are in the process of learning to drive we will still consider you for the role.

    You will have time off and you don’t work every day!
    Weekend work is mandatory. We allow some flexibility in rotas, subject to agreement with the management, we are fair in this respect.

    The wage is £4.50 per hour if you 16 – 18 years old and the National Minimum Wage of £5.30 for the18 – 20 age group and £6.70 for over 21’s.

    The Apprenticeship training for this vacancy will be provided by Runshaw College. As this is a funded Apprenticeship programme it is not open to candidates who have already achieved a qualification at Level 4 or above.
