This is a very diverse role which includes helping to maintain the business’s accounting records which will include, purchase and sales ledger duties as well as taking on any ad-hoc administration tasks delegated each day.

  • Job Description

    Purchase Leger Duties –
    – Managing invoices for approval
    – Processing and entering supplier invoices on
    – Process sub-contractor invoices
    – Set up and verify new sub-contractors with HMRC
    – Set up ad-hoc payments
    – Carry out monthly statement reconciliations

    Sales Ledger Duties –
    – Generating customer invoices
    – Sending monthly statements
    – Chasing payments

    Administrative Duties –
    – General reception duties including taking calls and dealing with queries
    – Supplier deliveries
    – Completing supplier/customer forms and questionnaires
    – Maintaining stationery stock levels
    – Filling
    – Health and safety forms

  • Personal Qualities

    Work as a team but also able to work independently, communication skills, punctual and efficient.

  • Qualifications Required

    Essential – 4 x GCSE A*-C / 9-4 including English and Maths or equivalent

  • Future Prospects

    Progression to level 3 and 4
