  • Job Description

    Assist Head Chef in daily food preparation
    Assist Head Chef with Food Service
    Assist Head Chef with daily kitchen cleaning schedule to ensure food hygiene standards are maintained
    Stock rotation and checking of supplier orders
    Food service, customer care and hospitality
    Front of house service

  • Personal Qualities

    Team player, hardworking and trustworthy individual with excellent punctuality and good personal hygiene. Willing to learn.

  • Qualifications Required

    GCSE in Maths/English, D/3 or above or ability to pass a BKSB assessment for English and Maths.

  • Future Prospects

    Opportunity to progress to position of Chef and to develop further skills working under the guidance of our Head Chef.

  • What will the End Point Assessment (EPA) include

    Towards the final few months of the apprenticeship you will complete your End Point Assessment. This includes 3 assessment methods. These include an ‘On demand test’, a 120-minute practical observation and a professional discussion. All assessment methods will be conducted and graded by an independent EPAO.

  • Things to Consider

    Please note that the hours are between 30-40 per week and the wage goes up to NMW after 12 months.
