We are a small charity nursery in New Longton and have been here 57 years. Our beautiful rural surroundings provide us with excellent situation for our nursery. We are looking for someone who is ready to take on the challenges of a small but very busy nursery, must be motivated to learn about childcare and love working in all aspects of childcare.

  • Job Description

    To liase with room leaders, duty of care of all our children, ability to use own initiative whilst following Nursery policies and procedures. Duties to include;
    – caring for the children
    – reading, playing and inspiring young minds.
    – Helping room leaders with activities and lunchtime and snack time routines.
    – Contributing to everyone enjoying their time at nursery.

    Calm and motivated. Nurturing.

  • Qualifications Required

    4 x GCSE A*-D / 9-3 which must include GCSE English and maths at A*-C / 9-4 or equivalent or BKSB sufficient diagnostic.

  • Future Prospects

    Progression to further qualifications in childcare.

  • What will the End Point Assessment (EPA) include

    This includes a professional discussion underpinned by portfolio. A knowledge test. All assessment methods will be conducted and graded by an independent EPAO.
