Ten of our A-level biologists recently took part in the National Biology Olympiad at Edge Hill University and came a very respectable 3rd out of 23 teams!!
Team ‘Runshaw Ace Stars’ took part in a number of activities, including molecular biology and genetics, tropical plant physiology and taxonomy as well as having the opportunity to see a scanning electron microscope in action.
