CIM Unit Route - Digital Marketing L4
This module is about appreciating the importance of the ever-evolving, dynamic digital landscape, and understanding how to develop skills to improve digital marketing effectiveness. It provides awareness of the nature of the challenges and opportunities within the digital environment and outlines the skills and tools required to support and enhance marketing activities. It identifies the importance of effective digital monitoring and measurement techniques that enable organisations to improve digital marketing effectiveness performance
The module covers the following three subject areas:
- The digital landscape
- Digital toolkit
- Digital in action
This module is suitable for individuals currently employed as marketing assistants, marketing co-ordinators, marketing executives, marketing managers in SME’s without formal marketing qualifications, non-marketers with aspirations for marketing and existing marketers wanting to become specialists in this field.
- Hold a minimum of 2 A Levels
- Hold any general Bachelors or Masters Degree
or an equivalent such as:
- CIM Introductory Certificate in Marketing (level 2 or 3 version will be accepted)
- Have an NVQ or SVQ level 3 in Marketing
- NVQ or SVQ level 4 in any other subject
- Hold an International Baccalaureate
- Or the successful completion of the Level 4 entry test
The module comprises three units of two learning outcomes each. Each learning outcome will be covered by the related assessment criteria and will be assessed by way of portfolio. The assessment will require submission of a work-based portfolio which is broken down into three tasks – research, plan and report.
CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing, subject to appropriate career progression opportunities.
