    Over a two year course you will initially develop a broad range of practical skills and techniques within the areas of fine art, 3D, graphics, photography, textiles and contextual studies. Following this, you will then select an area in which to specialise in, where you will gain more advanced skills and knowledge, supporting successful progression into further study or employment within the field of art and design.

    Our programmes are validated by the University of Central Lancashire and offer a sound introduction to teaching, giving you an integrated overview of teaching theory and practice. The courses are ideal if you are looking to start a career in teaching or already work as a teacher but do not have a teaching qualification. You may also be able to undertake your teaching practice at Runshaw College.

  • Infrastructure Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship

    Adults (18+),
    School Leavers (16-18)

    As an Infrastructure Technician you will be involved in providing support to internal and external customers, helping them to be productive when using technology to do their own jobs, by using tools to problem solve and trouble shoot non-routine problems. Task would also include setting people up on systems and providing support when they need it, rectifying issues to maintain the organisations productivity. Roles would include Help Desk Technician, First or Second Line Support, IT Infrastructure Technician or Network Support.

  • Network Engineer Level 4 Apprenticeship

    The primary role of a network engineer is to design, install, maintain and support communication networks within an organisation or between organisations. Network engineers need to maintain high levels of operation of communication networks in order to provide maximum performance and availability for their users, such as staff, clients, customers and suppliers. They will understand network configuration, cloud, network administration and monitoring tools, and be able to give technical advice and guidance. If you believe you are ready for a full-time work environment, and want to apply your technical skills in a demanding job role, this apprenticeship is very much for you.
