Useful resources for Year 11 students

Fine Art (A Level)

During lockdown I have seen lots of painted rocks whilst doing my daily exercise. I have set up a Pinterest page with lots of amazing pictures of rocks covered in patterns, initials, artist images, colour wheels etc. Some are done in paint and some in pens. Your task this term is to create a rock design that is meaningful to you. You can bring this with you when you attend college with us and we can display them near the classroom. Interested in doing some practical art work? Lots of artists are currently working in isolation producing art, inspired by the current lockdown situation.

At Home
Create a piece of artwork with whatever pieces of materials you have at home. You could create a drawing, a painting, or a mixed media piece. For inspiration for you work, use this link to access Pinterest with lots of ideas of how you could interpret the theme.
I would love to see the outcomes that you produce, so please send photos of your work to me at:  (Liza Gordon, Course Leader)
