The first step to beginning college is enrolment, which is designed to ensure that you enrol onto the study programme which best meets your needs, including Maths and English for students without a grade A* – C (or equivalent) in these. There will be lots of staff to give you help, and if you have any questions, please just let a member of staff know; we are all here to help you. If your examination results are different from what you expect or you are thinking of changing the course you have applied for, don’t worry, our priority is the same as yours – to enrol you onto subjects or courses which are right for you.
Over our enrolment period, please attend for enrolment only on the day indicated for you (this information is in your enrolment pack). We want to avoid too many people turning up at the same time. If everyone comes as directed, we will be able to give each student appropriate time and attention. If you do turn up at the wrong time, we will endeavour to enrol you as quickly as we can but it is possible that your enrolment may be delayed.
If you are an internally progressing Runshaw student, please come in to enrol on Thursday 24th August between 9am and 12pm.
Bus passes will NOT be issued over enrolment, however information about college transport will be available during enrolment. Buses are free over enrolment and stop at every recognised bus stop on the route when hailed. Please be at your bus stop at least 10 minutes before it is due and clearly indicate to the driver that you want him to stop.
Financial assistance will be available for some of our students in 2017/18. Further details of this will be available on our website and from our Student Services team during enrolment; where staff will be happy to outline the financial support which may be available and answer any questions that you have.
Please make a note of the date and time of your enrolment.
