As part of our Scholars Programme, students were invited to a drop in session hosted by Runshaw Alumni student James Stephens.
Students enrolled on our Runshaw Scholars Programme had the opportunity to meet James Stephens, a Runshaw College alumni currently studying History and Politics at The University of Oxford. James was at Runshaw between 2021 and 2023, studying A Levels in Politics, History, and Psychology.
James delivered a lecture to our first year students on life at Oxford University, giving advice on the process of applying to prestigious universities and how to make the most of applications. Our second year students were also able to ‘drop in’ and speak to James about what to expect at university interviews and what life at Oxford is like. James was engaging, accessible and our students benefitted hugely from his invaluable advice. Thank you James for offering a fantastic insight into life at university!
