This week, our first year A Level students participated in our very first, groundbreaking personal development day.
To support our college personal development themes, the day was aimed at promoting active citizenship and social and emotional development. Our keynote speaker was Dr Sayjda Tabil from the University of Lancaster, who spoke to our students about the importance of active citizenship in their next steps, including University and employment.
We then welcomed Gemma Holgate who delivered a session on resilience, Tania Cockroft (NHS) who delivered workshops on relationships, consent and sexual health before our final workshop of the day by Loudspeaker, titled ‘Game of Life’.
Many thanks to all of our guest speakers, our IT team and enrichment team for their support in the organisation and delivery of the day.
