This annual national event is in its 14th year and celebrates the success of past and present apprenticeships. Employers, training providers, like Runshaw College and apprentices themselves will be involved to showcase the growing rise and success of apprenticeships.
The theme for National Apprenticeship Week 2021 is “Build the Future”. This positive theme has been chosen to highlight how apprenticeships can help individuals and employers to create a workforce with future ready skills.
Runshaw College is proud to support the event and will be promoting National Apprentice Week on social media, showcasing some of our current apprentices and promoting our apprenticeship courses and current vacancies. We’ll also be looking at career progression roles and sharing success stories from some of our outstanding former apprentices.
The event encourages a celebration of apprenticeships, with events throughout England showing the impact of apprentices in industry and how they been supported by and equally have helped employers during the challenges of the past year.
Anne Milton, Minister for Apprenticeships and Skills said: “I am thrilled that National Apprenticeship Week 2021 will take place during early February 2021. Apprenticeships offer people of all ages and backgrounds a high-quality route to skilled employment with the option to train at every level in a range of exciting professions like aerospace engineering, data science, teaching, law, nursing, and fashion.”
