Today, former Runshaw students Matt Green and Marcus Johnson will release the behind-the-scenes video from their shoot with worldwide children’s sensation, “Bluey”.
The Behind the Scenes video below gives a peek behind the curtain of their recent shoot at Smyths Toys Megastore in London filming the “Bluey Hammerbarn Trolley Dash”. Hosted by Radio 1 DJ Matt Edmondson, three parent influencers dashed around the toy shop with their trolleys to collect as many Bluey-themed tokens as they could. The winner of the gameshow then took home the “Bluey Hammerbarn Shopping Centre Playset” for their family.
The main video produced by Glacé Media (Matt and Marcus’s production company) was used as part of a PR and social media campaign promoting the Bluey Hammerbarn Playset toy produced by Moose Toys. The initial campaign grabbed attention in the toy industry press as well as clocking up a collective 320K Instagram views in the first week! Working in partnership with PR agency Highlight PR, the Glacé Media team were able to plan and execute a defining piece of video content. This represents a real step in the development of their business as their unique style of social media video content is being capitalised by huge UK brands that have a worldwide appeal.

After growing up together in Westhoughton, Matt Green and Marcus Johnson founded the company six and a half years ago from their apartment in Manchester. Matt (Creative Director) and Marcus (Managing Director) both studied at Runshaw College – Matt studied A Levels in Media, Drama, Music and Music Tech; Marcus studied A Levels in Business, History and English Literature. Glacé Media specialises in producing promotional video content used by brands and businesses in digital marketing campaigns. Since 2017 they have gone on to produce video marketing content for huge brands, businesses and organisations such as Papa John’s, Müller and the University Of Salford.
