College success once again, as our second year Physics students complete Olympiad challenge.

In October, 19 second year A-level Physics students successfully completed the Year 13 challenge of the British Physics Olympiad. The exam paper they sat tested their knowledge of A-level Physics and stretched their ability to solve problems, some of which were similar to what would be expected at an undergraduate university level. A large proportion of the students achieved the top grade of a ‘Merit’ on a test that was required with its mark allocation. This is excellent and the three highest achieving students have been entered for round one of the British Physics Olympiad, taking place on Friday 15th November. Good luck to those three and well-done once again to all who took part for their amazing effort.
