This week our T Level Civil Engineering students worked with Regeneration Brainery to complete an ‘Inside the City’ day in Manchester.
With the support of Regeneration Brainery, students were welcomed to these companies to learn and understand some of their projects and shown around their high end offices and speak to staff members about what it is like to work inside the city centre of Manchester and what it was like to work in their field of Architecture, Engineering or Construction.
Students met a vast array of employees from architects, interior designers, quantity surveyors, directors, project managers and planners.
Our students all benefitted massively from their time in Manchester and we are very much looking forward to working with Regeneration Brainery again in the future.
Stuart Hide, our Course Leader for Civil Engineering added, “On behalf of the students and Runshaw College I want to thank this incredible non for profit organisation for spreading so much positivity around the construction sector and showing our students that anything is possible”.
