You will be able to access your results via the Student Portal on the 13th August from 8am and the Student Services team will be available from 8am on the morning on 01772 642030, should any advice or guidance be needed. You can also contact your Progress Mentor if you have any queries.

Ofqual has published a student guide for those receiving qualification results in England this summer. This guide is intended to help students and their parents and carers understand how results have been awarded this year and where to find more information. 

Exam Results

Your GCE / A Level / Vocational results will be available to view on your portal from Thursday 13th August 2020 @ 8am.

Your GCSE results will be available to view on your portal from Thursday 20th August 2020 @ 8am.

Certificates

A-Level & GCSE certificates will be available for collection from January 2021.

BTEC / Vocational certificates can be collected from October 2020 – or if your result was issued on 13th or 20th August – from December 2020.

ALL certificates can be collected from the Main Visitors’ Reception. You will need either your College ID card or some form of Photographic ID to collect your certificate.

If you have been successful, your exam certificate will be available to collect from the Main Visitors’ Reception on Monday to Fridays between 9.30am and 14.30pm. You will need either your College ID card or some form of Photographic ID to collect your certificate.

A third party may collect the certificate on your behalf but you will need to supply a letter of consent that names the third party and also your signature. They too will be required to bring their own Photographic ID. If you would like your certificate posting out to you by Recorded Delivery, please send a letter of authorisation containing your address and signature, and £2.50 worth of postage stamps, to the following address:

Please note that Runshaw College does not take any responsibility for any lost or damaged certificates. Runshaw College is required to destroy any unclaimed certificates after 2 years of the award date.

A-Level

If you are not attending the Awards Evening in December 2020 then your certificates will be available for collection from the Main Visitors’ Reception in January 2021.

BTEC / Vocational

Certificates from Summer 2020 for most awards will be available for collection from the Main Visitors’ Reception from October 2020. However if your results were issued on 13th August 2020 or 20th August 2020 then they will be available for collection in December 2020.

GCSE

Certificates from Summer 2020 exams will be available for collection from the Main Visitors’ Reception in January 2021 and certificates from November 2020 exams in March 2021.

Other Qualifications

You will receive a letter from Runshaw College informing you of the dates in which you may collect certificates for any other qualifications than the ones stated above.
