Runshaw Fine Art student Rose Creer has had her work selected for the cover of the Sixth Form Colleges Association Brochure.

During Lockdown, Visual Arts students created some amazingly varied artwork in response to the ‘At Home’ theme set for the Sixth Form College Association annual art exhibition. Three students’ work were selected to be exhibited and represent Runshaw College, and we celebrated all students’ work via our Visual Arts Instagram. It was lovely to see how our students could produce such high quality, creative work whilst working remotely at home.

Now we have some more amazing news; Rose Creer, who has progressed into year 2 of her A Level Fine Art course this September, will have her painting printed on the front cover of the SFCA brochure! We are so very proud of Rose; her teacher Amanda Lavery says ‘Wow, I am so pleased for her! Rose is an amazingly creative student, who works really hard and is really clever with the concepts behind her work too!’
