Former Runshaw students Marcus Johnson and Matt Green will this week unveil online the new branding of their growing video production company, Glacé Media.

This week, former Runshaw students Marcus Johnson (former Business Studies student) and Matt Green (former Media Studies student) will unveil online the new branding of their video production company, Glacé Media. The new branding, encompassing a fresh new logo and brand colour palette, will be shared with the world via the release of a new video showreel which can be viewed below, which contains the finest work they have completed over the last few years, highlighting the array of video content they have produced and the impact it has had within various marketing campaigns.

Glacé Media have long been synonymous with eye-catching creativity and highly polished video productions. Creative Director, Matt Green, stated that the new branding represented “Glacé’s re-introduction to the world. Over the last few years, we’ve been working with some huge brands and businesses to deliver top-end video content for their marketing campaigns in our signature Glacé style. It’s now time to make a real song and dance about it. The bold pop of the turquoise accent in the new logo emphasises the statement we want to make. It’s all about showing off our wares and turning eyes onto everything we’ve been up to.”

After growing up together in Bolton, the pair founded the company six years ago from their apartment in Manchester. Since then they have gone on to produce video marketing content for huge brands, businesses and organisations such as Papa John’s, Müller and the University Of Salford.

We last caught up with Marcus and Matt back in January 2021 when they were nominated for an award for their short film “Joel”. Marcus, who was at Runshaw between 2010 and 2012, left with A-Levels in Business, English Literature and History. Matt was at Runshaw during the same period as Marcus and studied Drama, Media, Music and Music Technology.

We are incredibly proud of their achievements, and we look forward to seeing their future video projects come to fruition.
