Two of our Graphic Design students have made it to the semi final of the WorldSkills UK Graphic Design Competition.
Gracie Bennett and Olivia Jones, both first year students studying on our Level 3 Graphics course, have made it through to the semi final stage of the competition.
The event is online, where our students will have access to a Mac and online resources.
Gracie and Olivia will be assessed by judges, where they will have to analyse and develop a visual response to communication problems, including understanding hierarchy, typography, aesthetics and composition, as well as manipulate and optimise images for both print and online publishing.
WorldSkills UK uses international best practice to raise standards in apprenticeships and technical education so more young people and employers succeed in their field.
The semi final will be taking place on Thursday 22nd June. Good luck to Gracie and Olivia, you’ve worked incredibly hard to get to this stage.
