This week both first and second year media students had two really useful and engaging webinar sessions with Dr Miriam Kent, a Lecturer in Film and Media Studies at East Anglia, who talked about Superheroes and femininity, and also Elizabeth Poole from Keele University, who explored ideas about post-feminism and the #metoo movement.
They were asked to come up with some fantastic questions to show their knowledge and engagement with the media.
The students thoroughly enjoyed this and it was a great opportunity for them to get involved in something different outside of their media lessons.
