18 gifted mathematicians achieved the prestigious gold award this year in our UK senior maths challenge.
They had to answer a series of problem solving questions gaining marks for a correct answers but also losing marks for an incorrect answer. This was a fabulous achievement and several of the students then went on to the next round in the competition – The kangaroo Challenge.
The students had a celebration lunch with Simon Partington in recognition of their achievements.
