Runshaw Mathematics students have recently taken part in the “Maths Pop Quiz’.
Over 30 teams recently came together from across the region to take part in Liverpool’s Maths Society annual ‘Maths Pop Quiz’. After 90 minutes of mathematical battle the scores were checked, double checked and triple checked.
Runshaw Team 1 (Libby Blackburn, James Foy, Isaac Parker and Daniel Walton) and Runshaw Team 2 (Harshal Gosai, Ho-Lam Tai, Jay Taylor and Sam Wane) came joint 2nd, narrowly missing out on the top spot. Only a few points back came Runshaw Team 3 (Owen Cain, Charlotte Cleary, Jake Knowles and Dan Maloney), who finished in 5th place.
