Runshaw Maths students have recently celebrated success in the UK Senior Maths Challenge.
Seven gifted mathematicians achieved the prestigious gold award this year in our UK Senior Maths Challenge. The students had to answer a series of problem solving questions, gaining marks for a correct answer but also losing marks for an incorrect answer. This was a fabulous achievement and several of the students then went on to the next round in the competition – The Kangaroo Challenge.
The students had a celebration lunch with Principal Clare Russell and Deputy Principal Zoe Smallman in recognition of their achievements. Well done to Lewis Clifford, Sam Cottrell, Nathan Dent, Luke Greenwood, Jamie Lowe, Joshua Sculfor and Ella Woods.
