Between the 6th and 10th of February, it’s HIV testing week for 2023. HIV is a sexually transmitted infection that still affects thousands of people every year. HIV can be caught through unprotected sex. However, for every problem, there is a solution.
PrEP is an HIV prevention medication that, if taken correctly, can prevent an onward HIV infection. This has only recently become available on the NHS and is completely free.
The bus gave information about PrEP and some general sexual health information, free valentine condoms, badges, and leaflets, and was very popular today.
