On Friday 4th November, the Police Horizons Programme officially started at Runshaw.

Over 70 students attended the first session which included a warm welcome from our Deputy Principal – Martin Rigby, Police Horizons Leader, Lucy Parker & Police Constable Haroon Vorajee. Students were also welcomed by Chief Constable – Mr Chris Rowley & South Ribble Superintendent – Gary Crowe who is an ex Runshaw student himself. An invaluable opportunity for students and an inspiration to meet such high-ranking officers within Lancashire Constabulary.

Other guests included Chief Inspector – Jill Halliwell and Diversity, Equality & Inclusion Manager – Rozila Kana. We are honoured that this course is supported by Lancashire Police and excited that some of our students will be shaping the future of policing.
