Year 2 student Tom Stephens has completed a work placement with the British Transport Police arranged in his own time over the Easter holidays.

Tom is currently studying BTEC Level 3 in Public Services and has just come back from spending the last week working with the British Transport Police. The placement was quite the opportunity for Tom and is not normally carried out with students under 18 in the North West. Tom spent two days with the dog handling team on their annual training course, as well as a day at Aintree Racecourse with the Transport Police for the Grand National, plus a day at BTP Preston Headquarters.
