Question Time came to Runshaw today (unofficially!), as our students joined in the live debate in front of a panel of politicians and student representatives. The full debate can be viewed below.
The Social Science department, Politics Think Tank, Scholars and Student Council hosted the annual Question Time debate on Friday 22nd March in the Student Hub, where our students had the opportunity to quiz our local MP Katherine Fletcher, alongside the leader of Chorley Council Alistair Bradley, and leader of South Ribble Borough Council Paul Foster, in a Question Time format.
Year 2 A Level English student Lily Ashleigh-Reynolds did a fantastic job hosting the debate as our official Chair, along with student panelists Becca Walker and Sam Taylor, who are both in their second year studying A Level Politics.
The debate was televised internally which you can watch below, with questions as relevant, topical and fiercely passionate as the actual programme including Brexit, the Gaza and Ukraine conflict, the next general election, Rwanda and immigration – thanks to our students for their eager participation!
