Our A Level Geology students were delighted to host Dominic Roberts, a Geologist from a local civil engineering firm, Roger Bullivant Limited, for an enriching visit this week.
Collaborating closely with Dominic, our students delved into the intricate analysis of geological maps and rock samples, gaining invaluable insights into the intricacies of selecting suitable sites for construction projects.
This hands-on experience not only provided practical knowledge but also offered a glimpse into the real-world challenges of geotechnical engineering. As our students prepare to embark on their Engineering Geology topic, this session served as a pivotal moment, bridging theory with real-world application.
