It’s been a bumper week for Runshaw Alumni, with TWO of our incredible former students hitting the headlines: 

Joe Gilgun

Congratulations to Runshaw Alumni Joe Gilgun who has been nominated for a Bafta for his role in Sky TV’s Brassic.

Joe is nominated in the ‘Best Male Performance in a Comedy Programme’ category and faces stiff competition from the likes of Steve Coogan and Jamie Demetriou.

Well done Joe – we’ll all be rooting for you!

Joe Mcleod

Former Runshaw student Joe Mcleod has been named in plans to bring a Michelin Star restaurant to Burnley!

Since leaving Runshaw, Joe has had a fantastic culinary career, working at high-profile local restaurants including The Manor House, Northcote Manor and Stanley House. Joe has also completed a stint as Head Chef at George’s Dining Room and Bar, owned by former footballer Ryan Giggs, where he earned a prestigious AA Rosette.
