On the 27th and 28th January, Runshaw Classicists visited London for two days of revision based activities. On the Monday, the group were lucky enough to be welcomed at Kings College London by Professor Edith Hall who gave a talk on “Women in the Odyssey” and answered questions on studying Classics at university level. The next day started with a visit to the British Museum special exhibition entitled “Troy: Myth and Reality”, before the group had the Bassae sculptures specially opened up for them to privately view. They spent the rest of the day revising key artefacts for their upcoming Greek art and Greek religion exams. It wasn’t all hard work and no play though and there was time for a night-time trip on the London eye, dinner at Planet Hollywood and free time in central London too!
