Jonathan Tiley, a current Runshaw student and keen sportsman, has shared his incredible story charting his journey of living with Cerebral Palsy.

Like many teenage boys and girls, Jonathan Tiley is obsessed with sport. Cricket and football are his main loves, but it is the game of cricket that he is making strides in. What differentiates Jonathan’s story from the majority of other sports people are the challenges he has overcome to reach this stage. Born with Cerebral Palsy, Jonathan’s lower limbs and left side have severe movement and coordination limitations. His Dad, Patrick, introduced him to Mawdesley CC, the closest team to his Chorley hometown with a dedicated coaching section for disabled cricketers. What followed next was inspirational.

You can read his full story from both the Liverpool Echo and Lancashire Evening Post. What an amazing story – Jonathan is a real inspiration.
