Engineering academy students visited the National Space Centre last week as part of their studies in advanced engineering. With six interactive galleries, the UK’s largest planetarium, and the iconic 42m high Rocket Tower, the award-winning National Space Centre was an out of this world experience. As part of their studies the engineering academy students are designing and building their own electric lunar rider. Visiting the centre enabled them to see how real spacecraft are constructed and understand the complexities of operating in a weightless environment.
