Our Level 3 Sports students swapped their usual sports T-shirts for ties for their presentations in Professional Development.
Our students – Kai Cowling, Jack Clitheroe, Lloyd Holden and Alfie Buddington (pictured) have been preparing for industry presentations, in preparation for employability for life after college.
All four students are currently studying our Level 3 BTEC in Sport. One of the units on course allows each student to explore the knowledge and skills required for different career pathways in the sports industry.
For a successful career in this industry, students need to understand the scope and breadth of the available opportunities and the steps needed to follow their chosen pathway. The unit also prepares our students for future progression within the industry either directly or through higher education, by developing their understanding of investigation, career planning and awareness of the skills and qualities that sports employers look for in a potential employee.
