Our Supported Interns have gone above and beyond by setting up a raffle and raising lots of money in the process.
It was a wonderful morning presenting a cheque for a fabulous £551 to Key Unlocking Futures. Each year, they help more than 2,000 people across Lancashire achieve their potential.
A massive congratulations to all our Supported Interns for their amazing fundraising efforts to support this charity as our nominated beneficiary, to celebrate National Supported Internship Day 2023.
You can hear from our interns below on their progress with Progress Housing Group in this short video – organised by Will Sutton and produced by Runshaw’s Marketing Team – which was recently shortlisted for National Supported Internship Day 2023 by The DFN Project SEARCH, who saw thousands of posts but this was particularly powerful and deserved to be one of their five runners-up. It was great to see staff at all levels of the organisation, including the CEO Jacqueline De-Rose and Runshaw’s Will Sutton – Champion of Supported Internships – while elevating the voices of our interns!
The DFN Project SEARCH is a one-year transition to work programme for young adults with a learning. At the end of the programme, on average 60% of graduates move into full-time permanent roles and 70% of graduates gain jobs in total.
