103 students achieved an award in the UK Senior Maths Challenge which took place during the first week of November.
This is a fabulous achievement with 12 students achieving a gold award, 43 a silver award and 48 a bronze award- well done to everyone!
The students had to answer a series of problem solving questions gaining marks for correct answers but also losing marks for an incorrect answer.
Several of our students have secured their place in the next round with 12 students going on to compete in the senior kangaroo challenge and 2 in the challenging British mathematical Olympiad. Our students include Anthony Banks, Huzaifa Umar, Thomas Corcoran, Nathan Sutton, Cian Dunne, Daniel Walton, Natalie Rea, Josh Sculfor and Richard Watson. We wish you all good luck!
