- Job Description
Book-keeping (using apps such as Xero and Dext)
Preparing accounts, VAT, corporation and personal tax returns.
Assisting with ad hoc payroll matters
Assisting other team members
Researching for ad hoc tax advise
Attending networking events - Personal Qualities
Friendly and approachable. Having a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Qualifications Required
4 x GCSE A*-D / 9-3 which must include GCSE English and maths at A*-C / 9-4 or equivalent. Or BKSB sufficient diagnostic
AND
A pass at Level 2 AAT certificate in Accounting or a L2 accounting qualification from another awarding body or A Level Accounting at A*-C.
- Future Prospects
AAT levels 4 with progression to ACA (ICAEW)
- What will the End Point Assessment (EPA) include
This includes a synoptic end test, a portfolio and a professional discussion. All assessment methods will be conducted and graded by an independent EPAO.
