It’s been another great day at Blackpool for the Regional Heats for the 2023 Hair and Make-up competitions.

Each year we have amazing success due to our fantastic creative and dedicated students.

Competition entries

1st Places – Keira Sutch [Level 3], Ellie Brookfield [Level 3] & Lucy Harris [Level 2]
2nd Places – Stella Cheyne [Level 3], Rawan Alqahtani [Level 3] and Emily Harvey [Level 2]

Keira Sutch is our 2nd year winner for both of her categories for the Higher level body painting theme ‘Out of Africa’ and Red carpet editorial make-up. Keira has been a consistent winner for the past 2 years for the War paint competition in Coventry, as well as two consecutive years at Blackpool AHT competitions.

The whole team are so proud of our students, their weekly competition classes have paid off and it’s a massive achievement added to their portfolios. The National Competitions are in May and our students are now automatically entered as they have gained 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.

War paint competitions will take place next month. Our students have such a great skill set and creative flare, they have proved they can compete with the industry professionals – they won the majority of the categories in the competitions held in November and January.
