Earlier this week we were thrilled that Gill Steel, one of our first ever cohort of students, and proud member of the Runshaw Class of ’74, came back to visit us for the first time since she studied here.

It was lovely to show Gill around and listen to her speak about her own career journey in Law, that began whilst here at Runshaw, and advice she had for current and future Runshaw students too! Hear from Gill by clicking below.

Gill’s return to college

Tim Cahill, one of our Directors and also a former Runshaw student, guided Gill around campus including our newest building Buttermere and brand new hospital facilities. Gill very kindly donated four of her own published books to a delighted Sharon Alder, Head of School for Business & Law and also a former Runshaw student. Gill also visited our A Level Law students for a Q&A session, before ending the visit meeting Principal Clare Russell.

A huge thank you to Gill for returning to college, we thoroughly enjoyed seeing you and catching up!

Runshaw College turns 50 this year, and we are planning a spectacular celebration to mark this milestone.

The 50th Birthday of Runshaw College is not only a testament to our history and legacy but also a reflection of the incredible journey our alumni have been a part of. We invite you to play a crucial role in making this celebration unforgettable. Find out more by clicking below.
