Jane Vout – Employer and Community Engagement Manager
Job Role: I manage the Community Relationships Team (CRT) and Employer Relationships Team (ERT) at Runshaw College. This includes building relationships with key partners, community groups and employers in the local area. CRT are responsible for the recruitment, admissions and enrolment of our adult learners, commercial bookings and marketing of our adult provision and apprenticeships. ERT are responsible for the recruitment of apprentices, organising guest speakers for the college and live briefs for students.

Sue Lane – Adult Interview Team Leader
Job Role: My main role is to provide one to one individual information advice and guidance to prospective students matching them to appropriate courses of study that is tailored to each applicant’s individual needs and preferences.
Carole Cannon – Admissions Officer
Job Role: Provide Support, information, advice and guidance to prospective students via email and phone. Process applications forms whilst keeping applicants informed of their next steps.
Enrol students onto their chosen course through different methods of either payments, debits, fee remissions or loans.
Job Role: I assist the team recruit students to adult education courses. These courses include key skills courses, professional and career courses and Access to HE courses. My work involves the marketing and promotion of adult education courses and Runshaw Adult College’s apprenticeship provision. This is done through creating promotional activity plans, creating local and regional advertisements and mailshots with Create, our digital marketing team and managing the invoicing of promotional activity.
I work with course tutors and heads of school to find marketing tools for recruitment and this includes arranging photos shoots and videos of students for promotional use. I work with students and apprentices to create ‘profiles’ of their experience at Runshaw Adult College, to help in promoting courses and apprenticeships through our website. I work with the digital team to update the website with course information and ongoing updates and respond to telephone and email enquiries through our dedicated Just Ask email address advising and signposting enquirers with information.
Other responsibilities include promoting courses and apprenticeships through our social media platforms and working with local schools to promote our provision. I am involved in organising the Adult College open events, one of the highlights of the year at Runshaw Adult College.
Helena Heald – Community Relationships Administrator
Job Role: Once you have applied for a course, myself and my colleagues will work to process your enrolment. If you apply for a Functional Skills or Essential Digital Skills course I will send you a Skills Check to complete and/or request any documents that are required for your enrolment to be processed, such as your proof of ID. Once you have sent everything that was requested in and organised payment if needed, I will enrol you onto your course and send you a letter to confirm this.
