Preparation of activities, engaging with children to develop their learning through play, and carrying out the clubs day to day tasks to collect and pick children up for the wrap-around care. The holiday club would be participating in the activities, taking charge of a group, prepping and tidying. Keeping children safe away from harm and happy.

- Job Description
• Assist with planning, preparing and delivering quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment.
• Providing comprehensive care for the children including collecting them from school and delivering them safely to parents or carers.
• Setting up the play space including moving furniture and play equipment when setting up the room after and before sessions.
• Providing refreshments and ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are met.
• Administering first aid when necessary.
• Consulting with children and involving them in planning activities.
• Helping with club administration, where necessary.
• Encouraging parental involvement in the club.
• Facilitating good communication with all members of the organisation, parents, and schools.
• Undertaking appropriate and relevant training.
• Keeping the work environment healthy, safe and secure.
• Working within the framework of the club’s policies and procedures. - Personal Qualities

- Qualifications Required
4 x GCSE A*-D/ 9-3 including Maths and English or equivalent.

- What will the End Point Assessment (EPA) include
This includes a professional discussion underpinned by portfolio. A knowledge test. All assessment methods will be conducted and graded by an independent EPAO.
