Jane Vout – Employer and Community Engagement Manager
Job Role: “I manage the Employer Relationships Team (ERT) & Work Placement Team at Runshaw College (WPT). This includes building relationships with key partners, community groups and employers in the local area. ERT are responsible for the recruitment of apprentices, organising guest speakers for the college and live briefs for students. WPT co-ordinate and arrange work and industry placements for our students, across a broad range of sectors”.
“I’m Gabrielle Watson the Employer Relationships Coordinator at Runshaw College working on the Apprenticeship team. I look after Accountancy, HR, Customer Services and Business Admin. Another part of my role is also to find guest speakers and employers for live Briefs”.
“My name is Charlotte and my role in the Employer Relationships team is to assist in finding apprenticeship roles for our Engineering, Health and Social Care, and our Hospitality and Catering courses. I also help to find guest speakers for the college”.

I am the main point of contact for businesses who are looking to employ an apprentice in the sectors of Digital Marketing, Digital Support Technician, Childcare, Teaching Assistant and Team Leading”.
“I’m Kirsty! I am responsible for matching applicants to our live vacancies. I advertise the jobs on the employers’ behalf & try and match current and new applicants to find the best candidates for the role. I help with CVs, interview arrangements and work closely with applicants to share new vacancies”.
“I am the Employer Relationship Administration Apprentice, and within my role I have duties such as: completing paperwork, setting up learners onto our internal database, obtaining employer information and doing allocated tasks set by the Employer Relationships Team. I also take part in important activities for the college such as planning Open Events, marketing strategy meetings and Employer Council meetings as I am always trying to help better the college”.
