This Level 2 Certificate qualification is designed to provide the essential basic understanding of the subject for those working in, or intending to work in, accounts. It covers bookkeeping to trial balance, using both manual and computerised techniques. The programme is designed to provide the maximum flexibility to students from a wide range of circumstances and diverse backgrounds, allowing them to gain skills and knowledge based on nationally agreed standards of competence.

This Level 3 course builds on the topics covered in the AAT Level 2 Certificate and extends on the areas covered to the completion of final accounts. The programme is designed to provide the maximum flexibility to students from a wide range of circumstances and diverse backgrounds, allowing them to gain skills and knowledge based on nationally agreed standards of competence.

AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualifications provide the knowledge and skills needed to work in today’s modern accounting environment. The course builds on the topics covered in the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting, and extends on the areas covered to the completion of final accounts. The course is designed to provide the maximum flexibility to students from a wide range of circumstances and diverse backgrounds, allowing them to gain skills and knowledge based on nationally agreed standards of competence.

Their aim is to drive sustained Organisational Performance through HR; shaping thinking, leading practice and building capability through the profession. Our programme is delivered based on research, student feedback/experiences and encompasses the learning required at this level. Following successful completion of the course you will be offered the opportunity to progress to the full Diploma at level 5.

Successful completion of the course provides direct entry to CIPD level 7, should you wish to pursue this higher level qualification thereafter.
